Welp... This is my last blog post for this website.. for now...
I've had fun writing these blog posts over this semester. To everyone who has read these, thank you so much for reading them and telling what I could do better and whast things I needed to keep. Now onto the blog post, I want to continue writing blog posts. I enjoyed doing these and I want to do more. I want to work on a special project I've been working on (secret for right now, more details in the future). I want to continue my work in politics. I also want to work on projects I've been planning and wanting to do. So now, before I get emotional, here ends the last blog post... For now.... Thank you, Quinton

Ok... So you know when you're watching videos on YouTube, you might find some of them funny? What if you literally had to choose like which one was the funniest out of those selections? Well, I'm in this delicate situation where I need to figure out which one I like the most. The video I have selected is the link below. I'll let the video explain itself as I have you watch this. Add me on my social media or comment below what you think! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LWqFaGwNCMU.
(For the video, copy and paste the link) Look at the title, now I want your opinion and tell me on my social media or comment down below: What do you think about the 2020 elections? What issues matter to you? You know what to do!
In this edition of another 'bomb' blog. But it the title says it all, my hobby. It might sound like some number of different ones, but they're actually just one different hobby, and that is pretty much called, being me. You might sound a little bit confused, but I'm going to explain some other things that might clear this whole thing up.
1. I love being me by volunteering whenever I can 2 I love being me by being myself on TikTok (Addicted possibly) 3. I love being me by being a advocate for people who need it. Those are three things that are pretty much summing, to be my hobby. While I was looking for a news story to write about, I was thinking about certain things going on in our country. For example, we have the candidates for the 2020 Presidential election announcing their run. One of the announcements I was paying attention to was a man who is the South Bend mayor. His name is Pete Buttigeg. Pete is a wonderful man who happens to be gay. His husband is a middle school teacher in the same town and they would be the first gay couple in the White House. I know, there is a rumor that President Buchanan was possibly the first one, but its more likely not true.
In the weeks since he has announced his run, he has got lots of good reponses and well-wishes while there is some criticism, including some homophobic responses. Some days of the homophobic responses come from popular people, including religious leaders. Some that really set me off was a 'pastor' known as the grandson of Billy G., Franklin G. What he said was literally disgusting and so rude. He said that he should be saying sorry for who he is and then literally he will be forgiven of his 'sin'. First of all, that's extremely homophobic and he should apologize. Before I get pretty upset, Imma sign off! Quinton In the world today, there are so many different things that people can't live without. For example, some people can't live without their phones (obviously), some people can't live without their book, their laptop, their Netflix account, their Spotify account, or even all of the social media. Things I would definitely can't live without are:
1. Phone 2. Laptop 3. Netflix 4. Spotify 5. Friends 6. Partner The reason I can't live without these things you may ask, but they are important to me because simply, they're important to me and I don't know what would happen if I couldn't live without these things in my life. Today, there will be a barrage of blog posts being published. The first one will be a student spotlight. The student I have chosen for this spolight is a senior here at York High. His name is Elias Dallmann. Elias is a videographer and photographer who does amazing work! He's also a wonderful actor, recently starring in the Great Gatsby, a popular book, movie, and play. He starred as the main character, Jay Gatsby. Being an actor, or someone working in videos, editing them, and taking and editing photos can be tough, but Elias can master all of them in the most professional way. In my opinion, I believe that he will continue to do great work, especially in filming, editing, and also being the kind-hearted person he is.
This weeks first blog post is about what Netflix shows I would recommend to watch. Some of these were or are on familiar tv networks, such as ABC, FOX, NBC, or CBS.
My definite first choice, is Madam Secretary. Madam Secretary is about a farm girl, graduate college professor who becomes the secretary of state under President Dalton. I reccomend this show because it shows us the current events of what's happening in our world today. My second choice is Glee. Glee is about a teacher who starts a club and they are being defeated by another teacher played by Jane Lynch. I reccomend this show because it has people from different backgrounds and they showed who they really are as some type of show choir. My last choice is The Office. The Office is about a company and the boss trying to make his company go to the top. The reason I reccomend this show is because Steve Carell is the main character in the show and he's pretty funny. Makes the show come alive. A myth is the false story or idea used for people to believe in than something else
A fact is the thing that is known to be true or its proved to be true This weeks blog post will be about myth vs. fact (see definitions above). Here are five myths vs. facts that you might not know. 1. Fact: U.S. elections are held every year. People say they are every other due to the senate and congressional and the state elections, but there is more than you think there is. The myth to this story, is that they take place on a certain amount of years. 2. Myth: Darth Vader said, "Luke, I am your father". This is a myth because of the fact that Darth Vader says, "I am your father." when Luke asks who his father is. 3. Fact: Thomas Jefferson and John Adams died on the same day, July 4th, 1826. They just did it within 5 hours of each other. 4. Myth: 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit is the normal body temp. for a normal human being. Its really between 97 and 99 degrees. 5. Ketchup was sold as Meds in the 1830s. Sounds disgusting right? It's true though. Enjoy these facts! Quinton In this week's blog post, I will be recommending products that might work for you! They will delve into electronics and other things you might want for yourself.
The first product is the brand new iPhone. The brand new iPhone has more new features than any other product in Apple history. It also doesn't blow up on your desk right next to you or in your pocket. Sorry Samsung. The next one is the MacBook Air. The laptop is basically like the other ones, except you can do so much more. You have different choices, like a brand new app store, new finder, new launchpad, new everything! Number 3, is an email service, I would like to call it (too late, someone did it already), Gmail. Gmail you can organize your emails and have different sections of folders so all you emails go into those and not in one place and you can't find anything at all! The last product I would like to talk about is the Ice Tongs. You can pick up ice simply with a normal tong. Also, you don't end up freezing your hands and frostbite shall may occur. Hope this helps consider what you might want. Q |
